Mine does!!!! For us, it means she's tired. She does this as a cue, it's like she's burrowing and rubbing. And sure enough, if I go with her tired cue, she typically will sleep about 30 mins following.
Maybe that's his cue too?

DD does this when she wants more food. I usually only start with 2 oz since she is lazy and falls asleep. When I wake her up to burp she will do that when she wants more.
YES!!!! lol, and she's starting to thin her hair on the sides because of it! it usually happens when she's exhausted. i can put her down right after the scrubbing slows and it's usually her best naps.
Yep, Lila does this. If she's smacking while she does it, it means she's hungry. If she's not smacking, usually she's tired. But, I'm not sure if that's universal, or just my baby.

This exactly. For DS, it means he's approaching "over-tired" and we better get him in his crib quickly.

Mine does this as well. Actually, she kind of pushes to the sides as well. She'll throw her body one way or the other so she can lay across my arms instead of vertically. Sometimes she's hungry, sometimes she's tired and just trying to get comfortable. Its kind of cute.
My LO does that when she is really really tired. She is basically trying to nuzzle in and block out all the light is what I think. She goes to sleep really easily if she gets to this stage before I can get her to her crib (if we are out).
She has also done this when she had a stuffy nose, exhaling hard and rubbing her nose back and forth. When I pulled her away to lay her down, a huge booger was left. It was epic.

With my LO I think it's just more of a reflexive action than anything. I haven't found it to be a cue for much of anything (yet anyways).
Same. DS does this when he's tired.

Evie does this. I *think* it's a tired thing.

And thanks for your responses everyone - I wondered if it might be a tired que but I hadnt paid attention to timing. I will start to though.
