Just for fun I wanted to see how my DS compared with other LO'S born roughly the same time. I know baby's progress at different times and ages. This is just for fun. )
DS : 17lbs 6 1/2 oz and 26 inches long

EBF'ed DS at 4 months: 18lb 4oz, 28.8 in - 100th percentile, I didn't know it went this high, and it means that all 4 month olds are shorter than mine! NYA! (also this is in my sig).
DH is 6'-2"ish.
I am 6'.
Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in.
6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)
DS: 14lbs 8oz and 24 1/2 inches (50th percentile according to pedi)
DS: EBF
DH is 5'8"
I am 5'4"
I am finding it interesting that babies that are just a few ounces or inches from each other are so different in the percentiles. Is it really that close?

They may be using different charts. There is an American chart and a WHO chart. Also, a few ounces or inches is a lot when you are only talking about a few pounds or feet.

I am so happy to see babys that are comparable. My DS is roughly 17 1/2 lbs weighed on my scale and 26 inches long. DH is 5'10 and I am 5'3. DS is EBF as well. Very cute LOs!
Isn't it interesting to see how big of a difference there is between most boys and most girls at this age (3-4 months)? I find it quite interesting. For example, according to the growth charts in regards to head circumference - 39.2 cm head circumference in a girl (at 3.5 months) puts her into the 12th percentile, while a boy would be watched for microcephaly had he have the same circumference at the same age ... wow.
At cca 3.5 months, Stella was 12lbs and 13oz and about length I'm not sure, but definitely more than 24 inches.
I'm 5'3" and DF is 6'1". I was definitely smaller as a child, so I believe, she'll be height-wise somewhere between us when she grows up. I hope she is, I've always hated being this short, haha.

At 3.5 months, DD was 14lbs 8oz and 26.75 inches long. She's a bean pole. And she is EBF'd.
DH is 5'10", I am 5'6.5". It's weird that DD is so tall, because neither of us are, lol. But we both have height in our families - DH's dad's side is a bunch of monsters, and my dad's side is also tall, with the women all being 5'8"-5'10". We'll see where DD ends up!
We had our appointment today. He is 13lbs. 10 oz 24in. DH is about 5'9 and I'm about 5'6.

Evan was 16lbs 8oz and 28 in long (95% and 100%). He's a tall boy and so is his sister. I'm 5'4 and my husband is 6'4, but I'm the only short one in my family.
