Gift ideas for 2nd B-Day
I think I'm going to put a Wish List together at TRU for DS's 2nd b-day.
My mom's already asking. I'm sending out invites for his OOT b-day party today or tomorrow.

Here are some things from our amazon wish list that the kids liked around that age. Also see the post with books for 2yo's. Books aren;t cheap so I liked getting them as gifts too.
I really liked the Melissa and Doug puzzles as well. We also recently got this Melissa and Doug sprinkler . They also have a worm version and DD loves playing in it and filling up her water cups, etc.
Large Legos are great. The other item DD plays with a lot is her kitchen set.
For 2, I tried to get DD gifts that encouraged creative play. Some of her favourites include:
Play Kitchen
Art supplies and easel
Melissa and Doug Ice cream Scoop Set
Melissa and Doug Sort and Snap Color Match
Things to play mommy with for her teddies and her little brother
Tea set
Dollhouse
Books
Sports Equipment (balls mostly, but we got her tee ball and she likes hitting that too)
Beads and string (big klunky wooden ones, they are prolly Meliss and Doug)
Musical instruments (castanets, tambourine, eggs, xylophone, recorder, etc.)
Puzzles (the kind with 25 pieces - DD loves puzzles)
