Anyone else lost their mucus plug with quarter-sized blood?

I called my doctor and they said that amount of blood is normal. I know it might not mean anything for a few weeks, but for those of you who have had babies before did it mean labor was coming soon for you? We don't have much longer to wait. My doctor is inducing on July 27 anyway, but I'd rather the baby come naturally! Just curious what your experience has been.

    i wish i had an answer, i was induced with my DD and i lost the plug and broke water all within a couple of hours. I have been noticing pieces of my plug though but not a bloody show. Im excited to hopefully go into labor on my own but im afraid i will be to late to the hospital and not get and epidural.

    I'm a FTM, but from everything I have read and heard, it could mean something, and it could mean nothing.  Sorry, that is not very helpful!

    I lost my plug with DD right after the Dr did an internal. I went to the bathroom afterwards and literally filled the toilet with blood. I have never in my life seen so much blood. There was so much blood that I couldn't even see through it to see the plug. Dr checked me again and confirmed that I had lost my plug. I had DD 4 weeks later.

    I lost my plug without any bloody show about a week & 1/2 ago after my first internal. Still no baby.

    The FIRST time I lost my mucous plug with DS1, there was a little blood.  Then there wasn't any the second, third, fourth, etc. times. 

    That was weeks before I delivered.  Sorry.

    With my first, I lost it all the night before i had her. With this one i lost a big hunk of mucus along with some blood at 34 weeks. I am still loosing pieces of my mucus sometimes large chucks of it. I am dilated 2cm
