Before I got PG, I was never a big breakfast eater. Normally I just a cup of coffee.
I wake up at 4am and I swear, it's physically impossible for me to eat anything at that ridiculous hour.
I've been taking Instant Oatmeal to work with me and eating at about 7. But I'm SO SICK OF OATMEAL.
What else can I bring with me that's easy?
Re: What do you eat for breakfast?
I was eating "kid's" breakfast cereal, like Apple Jacks, but my blood sugar was tanking around 11 a.m., so I switched to Raisin Bran. Not as yummy, but I don't feel crappy later in the morning.
I keep a box of it at my desk, and a half-gallon of milk in the office fridge (in a plastic shopping bag, so nobody else uses it).
If I don't eat a bowl of cereal ( or even when I do), I pack a bag of snacks:
Smuckers uncrustables PB & Honey
Babybel cheese or string cheese
fruit cup
Can of V8 Fusion
Nature Valley Sweet & Salty bar
I'm not a breakfast person.
This morning I had a bagel with cream cheese. Sometimes I will have waffles.
I've always eaten a relatively big breakfast. I've been loving eggs in the morning lately, although at 4:00 am I doubt I could handle them. I would probably bring something to work to eat there. I was having a bagel sandwich with eggs and cream cheese (and bacon on the weekends!), but I think I was putting on too much weight from it. Now I've been making a breakfast burrito with a WW tortilla, salsa, black beans, and avacado. Delish!
I was never a big breakfast eater either. Before getting pregnant I would usually bring a Slim Fast with me to work.
I think they'd be good for pregnant ladies even though we aren't trying to lose weight. They have a lot of vitamins and stuff in them. The Special K shakes are also tasty! Ensure also makes a shake that's a bit thicker than Slim Fast or Special K.
Since I'm not working anymore I've been eating cereal for breakfast, this week it's been Frosted Flakes

I do a high protein cliff bar (one of the builder bars) or luna bar with a cup of coffee at 6:30 when l/o gets up. Around 8 (his AM nap) I do a protein shake, either an odwalla or a Whey Protein powder mixed with 8-12 oz milk. I will add an apple in there if I am really hungry.
I'm a huge protein fan, especially since it's easy and on the go.

I love oatmeal, so I have that a lot, but I know you are sick of that. So...
wheat toast with peanut butter and a banana
yogurt with granola and berries
bagel and cream cheese and fruit
cereal (anything with higher fiber and lower sugar will keep you fuller longer) with some fruit
eggs (hard boiled is easy) with fruit and toast
scrambled egg in a wrap or on an english muffin (if you semi cook the eggs before you go to work, you could finish cooking them in a microwave if you have access to one.
leftovers are sometimes nice too.
I normally do either a whole wheat english muffin or bagel with cream cheese, or a smoothie. The smoothies are super simple and go down easy if you're not a breakfast person. My favorite one is: a banana, about a 1/2 cup of milk, a little peanut butter, scoop of chocolate protein powder (or Ovaltine) and ice. Soooo yummy!!
On the weekends when I have more time in the AM, I'll make a breakfast burrito with eggs or Eggbeaters, scrambled with green chiles, then add a little cheese and salsa- so good!
