Soothing Fail

bouncing seat with optional vibration and sound- fail

PnP- fail

crib- fail

swaddle- fail

nakedness- fail

bath- fail

shhing and patting- fail

sleep sheep- fail

baby gym- fail

paci- 5 min win, then fail

singing, rocking bouncing-  fail fail fail

I feel like the only way I can soothe DD is to stick a boob in her mouth :(

    I am beginning to think that the boob is the only thing that can settle my LO down too!

    I feel your pain! During fussy time I can sit and listen to my LO scream and cry at all my attempts....or stick a boob in his mouth and have a few peaceful moments. Going outside works for a little bit of time too.

    Yes  If you haven't watched the Happiest Baby on the Block dvd, I highly recommend it.  The swaddle and side hold with the head jiggle works wonders for us.

    If your ticker is right I'd say that you're just going through her 3 week spurt. My LO was on the boob for 2 1/2 days straight (literally not off longer than 10 minutes during the day). However, it DID pass and now we are coming up on our 6 week spurt. At least this time I know what to expect and I won't be as concerned that she isn't getting enough or that something is wrong.

    I have supply issues and have major boob - fail. It can be so frustrating to see DH and a bottle = win.
