It hasn't been my day today..vent

DH has been a jerk, Ethan's been a handful and now won't sleep, and a freaking storm is coming now, so I'm betting when I DO get him down the stupid thing will wake him up. Which will only add to the 4-5 times a night he gets up anyways. I'm crankkkkkkkyyyyyyyy. Tongue Tied 

And need advice... CIO doesn't work with him, because he just gets more worked up, and if I just try to rock/pat him when he wakes up..it basically does nothing. So, I'm nursing him to sleep every night and every time he wakes up because I'm tired and don't know what else to do. I feel like it's hopeless. *sigh*

Oh! And I found of that my IL's put E in their fricken hot tub. I was pissed, while DH didn't see the issue. Which is why we got in a fight and he's being a jerk. Please tell me I'm not nuts and it's not okay for them to do into a hot tub.

*edit* I forgot to add that it was about 90 out when they took him in their hot tub with them. Why they even wanted to go in it is beyond me.

    Sorry girl! Sounds like a sucky day. I can't believe he's getting up 4-5 times a night! I'm upset that G usually gets up 2 times. I've been feeling totally beat up. I don't know how you're doing it.

    Sorry girl! Sounds like a sucky day. I can't believe he's getting up 4-5 times a night! I'm upset that G usually gets up 2 times. I've been feeling totally beat up. I don't know how you're doing it.

    I only work part time. So usually I have off and can nap during the day. Otherwise i dont think I'd be able to hack it! You're siggy is adorable btw. I just love his chubby cheeks!

    I hope the storm HELPS your LO sleep! I swear I would absolutely die if Asher woke up that often. I have a December mommy friend who's little girl was like that. In her case, she had to start giving her a bottle before bed (she was EBFing before that), and it worked miracles. She only wakes up once now. I really, really hope you figure out something that helps!

    Oh! And the hot tub thing... why in God's name would they bring a baby (who is still not very good at regulating his body temp) into a hot tub in 90 degree weather. I would be pissed, too. Sorry your DH is being a jerk about it. Guys are so touchy when it comes to their families!

    We tried that a few times, because when I do work I work 2-10 and he's down before that. So when I was trying to save my bm stash a few weeks ago my mom gave him formula and it didn't change anything, unfortunately.

    And thank you! I knew I couldn't be the only one who would be mad about that. And you're right, he probably is being touchy because it's his family, I didn't think about it that way when he was saying he didn't see what was wrong with it if it was only for a few min.
