Made it to 5:43!

Well we made it to 5:43 am.  Around 10:30ish he started yawning and showing signs of sleep, so I put him in his crib after some awesome rocking and singing by yours truely.  Yes...I put him to bed awake!  He probably fell asleep around 10:50.  Woke up at 5:43.  We kept playing the pacifier game, and DS would wake up about every half hour.  Finally at 7 I just got him up, changed him, and made a bottle and oatmeal and bananas. 

There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Now it's 8:10am, and he's in his virbrating chair rubbing his eyes.  I see a nap in someone's future!!

    Quite simply put...I think I hate you. Tongue Tied DD didn't want to sleep at all last night.

    Do you know what a living hell these past 4 months have been when it comes to sleep?  I mean...an absolute living nightmare.  :)  I think I've earned this.

    Look!  Someone's eyes are closed!  *squeels*
    Time to run to the shower!

    our sons must have been channeling each other.  Sleep has been no picnic for us in this house either and last night, he was asleep at 8 PM.  I heard a squirm at 4:30...went in and he was passed out still, just moving around, so I placed the paci in his mouth and went back to sleep.  He didnt want to eat until 5:30! At this point, I was engorged, he got way too much too quickly, spit up all over the place, and passed out til 8 AM! I was up twiddling my thumbs not knowing what was going on :) 

    Yay for a good night's sleep tistampsup! How will you spend your day as a more rested mommy?

    Well let me tell ya!  :)  I am stripping all the bedding and washing all the blankets.  It's going to be a hot one here!  Heat index above 100, so I think we're just staying inside and cleaning.  Time to tape a prefold on Jake's bottom and swiffer him across the kitchen floor!  Kidding! 

    So he just took a 45 minute nap!  YAY!

    Oh!  AND I actually took a shower and shaved my legs!  Had enough time to put some curl cream in my hair and pull it back a little, get dressed, BRUSH MY TEETH!, throw the blankets from the washer into the dryer, throw another load in the wash, and strip the sheets off the bed and pillows!

    My DS has been showing me some mercy lately too!  Saturday night he slept from 10:45 until 4:15.  YAH!  Last night I fed him at 10:30.  I heard him crying at 1:30 but let him cry for a bit and he fell back asleep until 3:45.  Five hours is the longest he has ever gone!

    Agreed! DS didn't want to go to sleep at all. I think finally around 1 am he gave in and went to sleep. However woke up at 4:30 screaming and not wanting to go back to sleep.
