Hi March 2011 Mommas!
This used to be my first BMB.
But now I'm on March 2012!
I am wondering two things:
1) What did you love about a March due date?
2) What did you dislike about a March due date?
Thanks! Your LOs are adorable! (I lurk every once in a while!)

Re: Questions from March 2012
Congrats! What I liked about March was that although the weather's not great, you don't really go out much with a very new baby anyway. Once the baby is a bit older (and you are a bit more recovered) and you want to get out, the weather has warmed up. Also, it is nice and cold when you are 9 months pregnant
I would hate to be so pregnant in the summer.
What I didn't like is the lack of maternity winter coats.

Loved: Wasn't pregnant in summer, was showing at Christmas gatherings, I am a teacher so my leave bascially butted into summer break and my first tri was just about over when school started.
Hated: ? Nothing?
Life of mrsjanks
Loved: Cool winter weather, being on maternity leave since March (I'm a teacher), the awesome spring weather to go out with LO without bundling him up too much, amazing Thanksgiving and Christmas food! My UGGS.
Hated: Tons of snow and fear of slipping, lack of quality maternity winter clothes.
Hoping for a sticky baby for you this time!
Likes about March: I wore UGGs almost every day the last few months of pregnancy
I actually wore them the day I went into labor...hehe.
Like Mrs.Janks, I was able to take 6 months leave (2 months unpaid, but there was no reason for me to return to work since my 12 weeks was up in June),
DS is now old enough to enjoy summer activities like the pool, hopefully the beach, etc...
Even though I'm not completely back to pre-preg size, I still wear a bikini, I have lots of loose cotton dresses from last summer that fit well.
Dislikes: being so sick in last summer's heat!
I loved how the day was born our first flower bloomed in the yard. I liked not being big during the summer months.
I agree with this, although I was out of school on medical leave from November on.
The only thing that I don't love about March is the unpredictability of the weather, but people have babies in all types of weather.
Congrats!!
Loved - not having to deal with summer heat, having an excuse to eat as much holiday food as I want, having wonderful weather after DS was born, DS ended up an April baby which of course is the best birthstone
Hated - dealing with walking in over 12" snow while pregnant
Pretty much this! For Loved I will add that I ended up being able to take the rest of the year off b/c of banked sick days....I am probably a lot older than Mrs Janks
Hated: Living in Central FL it is SOOO hot this summer that we are pretty much stuck inside until the evening b/c the heat is too much for LO to do any outdoor activities.
I loved: calling her my little lucky charm, taking a cute pregnancy picture 9 months pregnant in cute rain boots, dressing her up for her first St. Patrick's day at 5 days old, not showing yet and being able to wear bikinis over the summer, having an easy time eating super healthy during 1st tri because I love to eat fruits and veggies in the summer, wearing sweat pants and sweat shirts on the weekends in the fall and winter, wearing UGGs on the weekends, showing and eating over Thanksgiving & Christmas, also I got a bunch of Christmas presents from my baby registry. Also, I like that Mackenzie will be 9 1/2 months for her first Christmas so she can interact more than if she were just a few months old.
I disliked: worrying about slipping on ice, worrying about driving in the snow, it was cold on the day we took LO home from the hospital.
Congrats! Although my DS decided to come into the world a month early (February 28th) I loved my March due date. I loved not being miserable during the summer months. I also loved the fact that none of mine or DH's family memeber's birthday's were in March. I didn't dislike anything about having a March due date.
Congratulations!
Most of mine have been said already, but here goes:
LOVE:
DISLIKE:
Liked: The cold weather gave me an excuse to take a hot bath everyday. Being pregnant during holidays is so much fun! Not just the "food" holidays either; dressing up your belly for Halloween is awesome!
Hated: NO shirts ever completely covered my belly so there was always a cold draft :-( Hated having to walk/drive on ice and snow while 8-9 months pregnant.
What I loved: I only had one season of maternity clothes that I had to buy.
Disliked: Being pregnant in the winter, I live in Canada, so I was always paranoid about falling on the snow/ice. I also hated that the weather was still incredibly horrid when I had her, so I was indoors for months after she was born. Can we say stir crazy?

Liked: February is such a dreary boring month and I got to have baby showers and the excitement of a baby almost here instead! Not dealing with the summer heat while preggo. Going back to work during our slow summer season isn't as hard with the baby not STTN yet.
Didn't like: Spring is the busiest time of year for me. I work at a church so we have Easter and First communion and I am in charge of religious education. That was stressful for me. Also being fat after pregnancy in the summer and not getting to wear my favorite cute summer outfits yet,
1. loved that we share birth months as does my mom, grandma-in-law, and many other extended family and friends.
2. think summer maternity clothes are way cuter then sweaters and such
My due date was April but still
1) It makes the when to send to school decision hopefully easier than a summer or fall birthday. No hot pregnant summer. I only really needed to purchase one season of maternity clothes
2) Disliked being pregnant in the winter, falling is scary
The bumpie formerly known as First Time in MI
Loved not sweating my arse off...I was hot anyway in snow...it was nice not to be hot and it be 100 degrees
hated...almost nothing-we are in MD and the posiblity of snow in March is good...nervous it would prevent us from getting to the hospital quickly if needed.
Good luck.
I LOVED knowing it could be a st pat's baby and being visibly pregnant for Thanksgiving and December, and having time to adjust to baby before Beach Season.
I disliked the heat of the summer while not being able to tell anyone why and thinking that I could have an April Fool baby (LO snuck in under the wire on the 31st).
As any FYI...I see you EDD is the 22nd, because it is so late in March tell general people you are due in April so they don;t start bugging you on March 2nd to know where the baby is.
I loved not being too hot over the summer! I basically planned on having lo in March so to avoid being pregnant over the summer , having the excuse of eating a ton over the holidays ,
I disliked: not being able to drink for thanksgiving,Christmas or new years, still having a baby pooch , the summer maternity clothing is cuter and alot of the time cheaper.it was almost hurricane like weather the day we left the hospital,
