i wanted to, but i already had very little support from dh about my decision to bf, adding cd would have made things that much harder, so ive made my peace with sposies.
If I had researched it more pre baby, I definitely would have done it. I had always thought of cloth diapers as like wrapped receiving blankets or something. They've come a long, long way to being easy to use and affordable. I wish I had done it, but I'm not going to switch to something new this far in.
We CD. H was super against it at first, and I told him straight up 'Look, I'm the one who does all the laundry in the house anyway, so it's not like I'm adding to YOUR chores.' He shut up about it. And now he loves them. He loves we're not spending tons of money on sposies. We do use sposies when we go places just because it's easier to toss out an old diaper than make room for a full wetbag, but we still love the CDs.
We totally CD. We started off with sposies, but I told H that I was sick of spending 15 bucks a week on store brand diapers. Now we're almost 100% CD, with the occasional sposie if I didn't get laundry all the way done in time.
CDs are the best! I never would have even considered them if my friend hadn't used them (and the bump's influence, of course) but I love it! I love that DS doesn't have any chemicals from sposies and I love saving $$. The hippy in me also loves that we're not contributing to landfills with all that diaper waste. I wash them myself with a HE machine, so I feel good about our decision 100%! You should totally do it - and use the CD board as a resource - they are great!

We do and love it! We only use BG 4.0 pockets, because that's what DH felt comfortable with. They are really the same as a disposable except for the laundry part, which is easy. I have 28 diapers and do one load of diapers, twice a week. It's easy. I'm so glad we decided to do it.
