SERIOUSLY??

I just went in to the bathroom and my IUD strings are hanging out!! A few days ago they were way up there (I was told to check them a few times due to issues they had putting it in). and now they are hanging out which means my body is expelling the IUD. Dr wants to see me at 8 tomorrow morning in which I assume they will be removing it. I had serious back pain over the weekend and finally was feeling better today. Has anyone else had one come out?

    Mine hasnt come out, are you cramping? Or can you feel it coming out? What kind did you have put in?

    I have Mirena and I now know why it is such an effective form of BC. DH is afraid to have sex with me now since he felt the strings once. When I go back to the dr on the 28th I'm having mine taken out and going back on the pill.

    I haven't had post-IUD insertion sex yet so I don't know how weird it might be.... but they said they can trim the strings if DH can feel them during sex.

    The strings are hanging out. DH and I decided that the issues I have had in 5 days with it just not good for me. I had not had sex yet but the Dr told me that if he felt she would trim them when I had put in.
