I've decided I'm officially old.
For my job I'm in and out of professional buildings a lot (usually medical).
I'm stunned at the number of women embracing the latest fashion fad of stripper shoes.
Either platform OR 4 inch heels I can handle but when you do both at the same time (and usually with a fairly short skirt) you look like a stripper.
Anyone love them and want to bash me as an old lady with no fashion sense?
I've got some cute platforms but they're a wedge heel so I'm not anti-platform - just anti-stripper.
Ok ladies... lemme have it.
Re: Random thoughts.... stripper shoes.

I was trying to post a picture of my most risque shoes (not for work) but it's not working and I'm too tired to figure it out.

I once went to a wedding where the bride wore those shoes that the heels are see thru (KWIM?)... and a dress with a diamond cut out in the belly.
Klassy, esp since she was in her late 30s at the time.

I say if you're young and want to wear them to a bar (and look like a hooker) that's fine, but not in an office!
I feel/felt the same way with the knee high boots. Can be cute with a longer skirt but look cheap with short skirts. I guess most shoes look cheap with a short skirt though, these just don't help the cause.
