Fun place to have a 2 year old's B-day party?

I just realized that my baby is turning 2 in less than two months. Holyfuckingshit. I do not want to have a party at my house, DH thinks that DS is too young for Chuck E Cheese, so back to square 1.

I would cry about the fact that my baby is turning 2 but I am too busy freaking out that I am so behind the ball.

 

I need ideas! Thanks!

    Do you have an indoor climb and play in your area? We have a place called "Castaway Cafe" and they have tons of indoor playscapes. For both young and older kids. They offer birthday parties (including a huge screen t.v. for montages, movies, etc.).

    We are doing it at the local YMCA type place with an indoor pool and splash, slide area

    I don't think 2 is too young for CEC....I had Alexander's "small" party for his 2nd birthday there without problem.

    Now, of you're just grossed out by the whole CEC idea, THAT I agree with.  I hate that place, but the children love it.

    What about a bounce house place? Something like Monkey Joes. I also agree that 2 isn't too young for CEC if that's what you want to do.

    They love the indoor gym-type place and also Chuck E Cheese...if you can go on an "off" day and early.  That way...there are very few kids there and they basically have the whole place to themselves.  We have one that is fairly new so it is not gross.

    We are doing Noah's at a place called Pump It Up.  It is an indoor bounce house type place.

    Do you have a children's museum (discovery-type place) in your area? Ours has a party room plus you get admission to the museum. Or what about the zoo? Most have similar deals.
