I don't like unisex names, I want something that is clearly a boy name. I like Logan but I don't know why it seems like it could be used for a girl also. WDYT?
i had a female student names logan. it was cute on her. that's the only female i've ever met with the name though. plus, nowadays ppl use many boys names as girls names.
I say all boy. Of course, I remember Logan as Mary Anne's boyfriend in The Babysitter's Club. ; )

In my development, we have both a toddler boy and a toddler girl named logan so I am more on the unisex side. My dd's name is Taylor and I think of that as a total girl name but i know there are boys named that too..so it is whatever you think!

All boy and on my list of considerations. It's a left over from the very few names we liked when we picked ds' name. I need to pull out my baby name book and get to work because it took us forever to come up with a name for ds and now we have another boy to name!
I see it mostly as a boy name, but I have a 5 year old cousin named Logan and it totally fits her. Cute as a button, too. It's not a popular unisex name, but it can be.
I had a female student with that name, but I still think of it as a boy name.
The same year I also had a male Addison and Avery... so names do change, but I think that's pretty safe.
Ok, Avery...I get, I grew up with a boy named Avery so it's not weird to me BUT Addison? On a boy?
I know, weird... but it was before the big surge of Madisons/Addisons for girls. He's a high school senior now. He went by Addy, too! I went to high school with a male Addison, too, now that I think about it...

Logan is my husbands name- so my first impulse is Boy. But, I have a cousin who named her daughter Logan. It works for her, but I still sounds boyish. She often goes by both her first and middle name to avoid confusion.

But I love Logan and think it is totally boy.
