I am 5week 4 days and dont get me wrong I am very thankful to be blessed with pregnancy.
I workout everyday and still have since we found out.
However as my boobs are starting to get bigger, I am starting to feel really sad and depressed about gaining weight. I am normally a 32 or 34 B but now I think they are noticeibly bigger ( a girl at work today told me they looked bigger)
Also my emotions are all over the place...
Anyone else really scared about gaining weight for 9 months?
Re: Anyone Feeling this??
Make a pregnancy ticker
ummmm.....I knew getting pregnant would lead to weight gain.
As long as you are healthy about eating and don't induldge too much you will be fine. Stop worrying about it

Yes I'm totally freaked out about it, but you need to get over it. You knew before you got pregnant that this was going to happen. Dieting and over-exercising in an attempt to NOT gain weight while pregnant isn't a good thing.
After the baby is here you can lose it...none of this is permanent. But in the meantime don't do anything that might harm your child.
Granted it has only been 3 days, but I have also worked out daily and plan to keep it up. The only thing I have changed, is that I don't work out as hard. I used to get my heart rate way up there during a long cardio workout, but now I am sticking to the under 140 (maybe more like 150). It is not easy, and I know I am not getting the workout I got before, but I don't want to risk anything until I talk to my OB in more detail about it.
Obviously knowing this was going to happen, I am fine with gaining the weight, but do hope to keep it to a healthy amount. My spinning instructor taught a class last Monday morning and went into labor the following day...
I have had friends who just let themselves go and regret it when their baby turns 1 or even 2 and they still have not lost the baby weight.
No, gaining weight and growing bigger boobs do not scare me. I'd rather spend my time focusing on how blessed I am to have a baby growing inside of me than obsess about my appearance. That's what the gym is for after I give birth.
Kicking P&R butt since July 2011.
exactly this.
In what I've observed, women who were small & fit before pregnancy, bounce back to it pretty quickly after pregnancy.
It's those of us who were flabby pre-pregnancy that have the issue. haha
Don't worry about it. Pregnant is SEXY girl! I 100% feel the sexiest when I'm pregnant. My husband has been SO turned on since the BFP too..lol
Oh good lord, you're the one that needs to STFU. She didn't go over to any of the TTGP boards and vent her fears, she posted in 1st Tri. Get a freaking grip and quit being a victim.
Not everything is about you.
Signed, a woman who went through 6 years of infertility and a miscarriage and found nothing offensive in what the OP posted.
You're not alone. I have a two year old and worked very hard to get my body back into shape. Granted it wasn't very hard to lose the weight since I breastfed but it was hard to get my muscle back. You're body is going to get bigger in places you don't expect (everywhere one day, just here or there another) but you have to remember it is for the benefit of the baby. Keep working out but don't come down on yourself if your endurance or strength are weakening - your body is busy making a person. It is the single most amazing thing your body will ever do.
Runs off and grabs the popcorn.
In all seriousness though....she posted kind of a stupid question. What was she supposed to expect for a response? Your pregnant...you gain weight...get over it. The outcome is worth the weight gain (that some people would put up with 100 times over if it meant taking home a healthy baby).

If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all. This board is for venting and sharing concerns/frustrations/news/joys/etc... it's like you're just finding an opportunity to feel holier-than-thou.
I'm far from vain, can't wait to meet this baby, but it's still weird having my body change. It's definitely a transition and I feel insecure and stuff, too!
Oh, the Princesses...I've heard about you guys...
trolls, more like it
But that kind of response is useless - STFU - either ignore the thread if you're annoyed by it, or offer some advice. "Hey, just remind yourself what you're gaining weight for when you're feeling down" is a lot more productive than being rude about it, no?
I completely agree that eating healthy and remaining active during pregnancy will be good for both you and the baby but you have to be careful not to take it to far. You are supposed to gain weight during pregnancy and just so you know, most of it is baby, placenta and amniotic fluid. Once you deliver, all of that will be gone. And so what if you have a little extra weight on afterwards, you will get a baby at the end of it. You have the rest of your life to watch what you eat and exercise to lose what little you will gain during pregnancy.
To the stupid little PRINCESSES, this forum is for women who are pregnant and in their first trimester and while you may think what she feels is stupid, no one here cares what you think because you all are immature little girls who have no business posting the things you do. And I am going to say it again, your pictures in your signatures are extremely inappropriate and offensive and you are the ones who should STFU!!!
Ummm I'm assuming you quoted the wrong poster? Sherpa gave really good advice.
this is my first baby and I noticed that our due dates are pretty close (mine is 3/19/12). I love the site that you got your ticker from and did my own too
yep, woops, sorry
Agreed!
This, but with the addition of the fact that I am a little worried about gaining too much weight. But I'm still exercising and plan to keep it up as long as possible (hopefully all the way through) and making healthy eating choices. But you are supposed to gain weight!
