3 year birthday presents?

Sorry, yet another question that I could probably avoid posting if the search feature worked.

What did you get (or do you plan on getting) for LO's 3 yr birthday? So far I have a pillow pet, a Madeline doll and I'm going to get a toy cash register. I think that might be it from me, but my mom wants suggestions too. I think we're going to hold off on a kitchen until Christmas. Since we are moving to my parent's house next month, I'm trying to avoid buying a bunch of big stuff b/c they already have a ton of toys there for her...but I know my mom wants to get her a couple of things too.

    Our big gift to Liam was a bike, that might be a good grandparent gift too?  The one I got him from Walmart was only $40, and it's a nice bike.

    His other birthday favorites were new books, puzzles and games.  He got lots of jigsaw puzzles and loves them!  He's just gotten hugely into Curious George, so he got a new George book and a couple of George DVDs - another big hit.  Also the "Let's Go Fishing" came where the fish spin around and you snag them with fishing poles.

    Hughes might chiime in but she posted a link in the christmas post about a really cute wooden doll house she wants to get holly. i could totally see Maddie enjoying that!

    We got Natalie this dollhouse and both her and Claire love playing with it.  We also got her a wheel barrel and gardening items to "help" DH outside.  And then, she got random princess items, more M&D kitchen food, etc.

    Thank you! I am going to put some of these ideas on my list and hit up Toys r Us on Friday to look around. There is SO much stuff I'd love to get her once we move, but it's just a weird year since we'll have to put everything in my parent's house.
