LO only naps on me during the day. If I put him dow he is awake within 5 minutes. When DH gets home we start dinner and then get LO ready for bed and by then I am too tired to work out and just want to spend some quality time with DH. So other than going for walks, how do you find time to work out?

Re: How do you find time to work out?
I just went back to work part time so here is my schedule:
M/Tues: DH closes at work so I have my mornings to myself. I run/shower/get ready and get to work by 8:00AM.
Wednesday: Day off
Thurs/Friday: I am home, so DD and I will probably hike (I live in AZ) and DD will go in her jogging stroller.
Saturday: Hike ALONE
I just started this routine this week and today I feel pretty beat. I didn't even have to do night time feedings ..... I do those Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday so I am thinking this is nuts but I have to have a schedule because I am training for a hiking competition....
Edit: I think that once she is a little older and the competition is over I will get an LA fitness membership so I can use the child care. They say they start at 3 months of age but I can't see taking her there that young. I am super motivated to lose the baby weight + a bit of newly wed weight. Good luck to you!!!!

I don't. My LO is a short napper, and I basically only have time to get a load of laundry done, or some dishes, or whatver else I can squeeze in during the maybe 60 minutes he gives me.
I was thinking today that I should start doing some things while he's on the floor on his mat. I could get some sit-ups, squats, etc done while he watches.
I'm also not particularly focused on losing the weight. I'm down to the weight I was at my first appt, and would like to lose another 10 that I've put on over the last few years. I figure it will happen but I'm not obsessing about it anytime soon.
I take 30 min in the evening during the week to work out after DS is in bed so DH just has DD to tend to.
Or I go while they are both napping on the weekends.
I run with my run club 3 times a week (monday, wednesday, saturday) while DH watches DD.
My mother watches DD for 2 hours on friday mornings and I will go lift weights and do errands during that time.
i go the gym for about an hour in the evenings, while DH has DD. I consider it me time, so I dont feel bad.
DD will be going to the gym with me after work.
This. I do some workouts off my on demand during morning nap most days, and at least twice a week I try to go to the gym in my townhouse complex to run on the treadmill after DH gets home. I have actually taken her with me in the car carrier and put her on the treadmill next to me (off, obviously, there is never anyone else in the gym and its small). She usually sleeps.
It's tough. Like your LO, Gabriella will cry immediately if I put her down. She always wants to be held.
The only time I can get on the treadmill (we have one at home) is when DH gets home from work and on the weekends. I feel bad having him watch her for an hour and a half every day after he has worked all day but it's the only way I can get a workout in and quite honestly remain sane. DH knows working out every day is really important to me and always has been so he understands.
I have given up on exercising for the time being. It is WAY too hot here to do anything outside, and I just can't seem to find the time during the day.
DH and I own a business, and I've been working a few hours each day from home. Between that and taking care of the house, picking DD up from preschool, etc., there just hasn't been time. I was trying to force it and figured I'd just wait until things settled down a bit.
During naptime. I'm doing 30DS right now, so it's only 20ish minutes. I'll turn the DVD on when he's starting to get sleepy so that I don't have to wait for all of the stuff at the beginning when I'm ready to start. I can usually get the whole thing done, plus a shower before he wakes up. Some days he wakes up in the middle and I can't finish.
Before it got so stinkin' hot out, we were going for walks in the afternoon too. I'm hoping to be able to start those up again next week.
Mmmm...cake!
The joy of being with my DH for almost 12 years (married for almost 8) is that I am fine with taking just 60 minutes for my workout and not feeling like that is taking time away from "us". "We" will be just fine if I take a little time to workout a few nights a week.

My dh is off for the summer, so for now, it's pretty easy to leave LO for a half hour.
Later, I'm thinking about a gym with childcare. Or a jogging stroller. Or both.

I exercise during naptime (treadmill in my basement or I just press play), I use the jogging stroller about once a week and we also have a gym membership with a daycare facility where I have left her one time so far.
When I go back to work in a week, I will resume my normal routine where I either workout early in the a.m. (this has become my "me" time and even though it's early you get used to it really quick) or when I get home at 4, before I have to pick the kids up.
