Name help

DH and I still haven't decided on a name for our baby girl.  We have it narrowed down but just haven't made a definite decision.  Our top two choices are Avery and Olivia.  We are not worried about the popularity of a name and we don't know anybody with either of these names.  So, that being said, what are your opinions?  Also, we haven't even thought about middle names so if you have any suggestions for MN to go with either of these, let me know!  (Sorry, I would do a clicky poll, but I don't know how.)  Thanks!

    I like Avery and Olivia but I know that Olivia is climbing the charts in popularity so if you're worried about that, maybe go with Avery instead. As for middle names, I feel that it's best to go with using a name from someone who means something to you, be it a family member or friend. We are using my husband's grandma's first name for a middle - Violet. Good luck playing the naming game!

    I loved Avery for our baby girl, also. DH wasn't so fond of it.

    Avery was our choice for a boy but I like it even more as a girls name.

    Someone I know named her little girl Olivia Grace, which I thought sounded very beautiful and classic.  We had Avery on our list for a little girl, and we came up with Avery Claire, Avery Michelle and Avery Christine.  Eventually, we opted for Harper Ann-Marie if we have a little girl, but Avery is still on our list for later.  Best wishes! : )

    This is the thing--Avery is my #1 and Olivia is my #2 but Olivia is my husband's #1 and Avery is his #2.  So eventually one of us has to give in.  I was caving in yesterday, but now you all are making me not want to give up Avery!  :)  Ugh, this is so hard!   I really love both names.
