Goldenview Ultrasound- Brookline

Has anyone been here? I'm going for an elective gender scan tomorrow (I understand it's early and they may not be able to tell the sex). Just wondering if finding parking was easy and if there was a time limit if we do park in the municipal lot? Do you have any restaurant recommendations near there?

Also I have several $5 and $10 off coupons for there that I got at the Drool Expo, if anyone wants one PM me and I'll send to you if you send me a self addressed stamped envelope.

    That area of Brookline is fairly busy and congested- it's Coolidge Corner. But! There's usually plenty of inexpensive metered parking along Beacon Street both before and after you get to Goldenview. I think the meters there run for at least 2 hrs, so it's plenty of time to go in, come out and refill and get dinner locally.

    As for restaurants there, there's a bunch of small places within 5 minutes walking distance from the intersection. There's Chinese, Thai, sushi (Fugakyu has plenty of preggi-friendly meals), traditional Jewish deli fare (Zaftig's is sit-down style) and Mexican (Anna's Taqueria). There's also a great little crepe place called Paris Creperie.

    We went to Goldenview a few months ago, and it wasn't the easiest place to find- it's not a street-level place. It's in a big building with an entrance that looks more like an art deco condo unit than a business, but once you enter, you'll see a bunch of small offices in hallways. Goldenview's facility is small, just a waiting room and then a large ultrasound room. It's much more relaxed than a clinic setting, and there's plenty of comfortable seating for your SO/family.

    To the PP, thank you so much for taking the time to give me such a detailed response, I really appreciate it! I'm looking forward to my appointment and to have a day out with my husband and our son. Knowing what to expect before we get there will make going to an area we aren't familiar with a lot less stressful. Thank you again!!

    i was there on wenesday for a gender determination at 15 weeks. They were great, found out im having a boy within 1 minute of the ultrasound. The tech was very sweet and involved in explaining. Its not easy to find. Theres a walgreens on the corner and past it is a large golden door, there it is. Good luck!

    Thank you! I went on the 13th and just saw your response now. My tech was great as well and we found out we're having a baby girl after about 5 minutes. Congrats on your baby boy! I love being a mom to a boy, he's so sweet and snuggly!

     ETA: We were there the same day, I just realized the 13th was Wednesday, how funny, we must have had the same tech!
