My DD won't poop in the toilet!

So, our DD is pretty much potty trained as far as #1 goes but #2 is a totally different story.  She will literally hold it until we put a pull up on her...and sometimes she does poop in her underwear too.  Why is this?  Any advice to get past this stage?

    I am having the same problem. I don't know what to do either. I am not sure if it is because she is impatient or if she is scared but hopefully someone has some advice. I try to remind her she gets two pieces of candy if she poops in the potty but she doesn't care. She will ask for a pull up.

    Ok, I am the original poster of this message and to the PP here is what has worked for us for the past two nights.  Whenever you are home with her get her totally naked.  I usually say No Potty or Poo Poo in your underwear and then when we take them off and let her run around naked I say ok, you can't go on the floor now either.  For the past two nights she has gone into the bathroom herself and gone poop!  I feel like we're really turning a corner here!  She hasn't gone all day though either so I think she's holding it but I'm hoping that she'll realize it's not so bad to go in the toilet!  Then of course when she goes she gets all the praise in the world and the best treat she can imagine!  Mostly mini oreos and M&M's!  She's a chocolate lover!  Good Luck!
