3D u/s for gender?

Did any of you ladies have a 3D u/s done earlier than the 20 weeks a/s to find out the gender? What week did you have it done?

    I found a place right by me that starts at 15 weeks. I was just wondering how accurate it would be.

    Oh my goodness...we could know in like 3 weeks what the baby is! That is crazy to me! I have been having all of these dreams lately, and I feel like I have to know! I cannot wait 2 more months!

    Both techs were 100% sure. With a good machine, you can definitely find out that early.

    I had an u/s at 17 weeks to find out the gender. I definitely would have done it sooner at 16 weeks but DH was out of town at that time.

    I loved it, and really enjoyed having a 'non medical' ultrasound where the technician was not focussed on taking measurements etc, but was all about showing us our baby and getting lots of good pics!

    TTC #1 since 03/09 Dx Unexplained
    Jan to April 2010 - Clomid - All BFN
    June 2010 - IVF - BFN
    Oct 2010 - FET #1 - BFN
    Dec 2010 - endometrial biopsy
    Jan 2011 - Surprise BFP! - m/c at 6w5d
    March 2011 - FET #2. Thawed 11 Day 1 embryos; 5 'exploded' / possible lab error?
    ET 4/2/11 transferred 1 blast & 1 morula
    Beta#1 10dp5dt =81; Beta#2 12dp5dt =222 Beta#3 16dp5dt =1337

    16 weeks...Clear as day

    (We get 3D every u/s through my MFM office, not sure if I count?)

    5 REs + 3 surgical hysteroscopies for septum/lap + 3 failed IUIs
    IVF w/ICSI/AH & acu = BFP!, unexplained spontaneous m/c @ 8w2d (our little girl),
    FET w/acu = BFP!, B/G twins!, lost MP @19w, dx w/funneling cervix @20w,
    twins nearly lost to IC @21w, saved by rescue cerclage, 17P & 16w of bedrest
    Our twins born @36w4d via CS when A came foot first

    Thankful for every day

    My OB hasn't said that far in advance. I have the NT scan tomorrow and then my reg OB appt is at almost 15 weeks. She has not said anything about a 16 week u/s. I will def ask tomorrow!

    With DD I did it at 15 weeks.  The place I went to guarantees any time after 14 weeks.
