I can't swear that it works (because I do other stuff--dark beer, fenugreek, other things in my diet), but I like it. I've always used all of the Traditional Medicinals teas.
I got fenugreek pills at Rite Aid in the GNC section.

I was looking into this, too. Does it make you smell like maple syrup?

Not that I can tell...(I seriously just sniffed myself. LOL.) One thing to be aware of is that it can make your LO's urine smell like maple syrup, so don't panic and think he has Maple Syrup Urine Syndrome (I forget if that's the exact name), but it's a genetic disorder found mostly in Jewish children. I got the genetic testing to make sure I'm not a carrier, but I still wanted to mentally remind myself not to "panic" if Liam's pee smelled like it. I do think it makes his BMs a little runnier, though.

Thanks! I picked some of it up today, too. I'll be on the lookout for the maple syrup pee
I just hope some of this stuff works. I'm afraid my freezer stash is going to have to be trashed (which devastates me) so I need to make sure I can supply him enough every day.
It seems to help me out a bit. Word to the wise though, it works as a laxative. So, be prepared for that, especially if you drink a ton of it.
Good to know! After 9 months of pregnancy induced constipation I can't say that I won't welcome that little side effect
I started on the tea at 4 days PP because my milk hadn't come in, and the laxative effect was GREAT for those early movements. Definitely made it a lot easier to handle!
BFP #1 5/1/10, missed mc dx 6/4/10
BFP #2 8/5/10, baby boy arrived 4/25/11
What happened to your freezer stash? I've never used any of these so I'm not sure how/if they work
The first bag I thawed out smelled a little off and Andrew refused to drink it. He did drink some of another bag that was thawed, but to me it smelled a little off, too. I don't know if I'm one of those women with too much lipase in the milk or what. At the very beginning he drank some that was frozen (when I was using the syringe to supplement) so I didn't think to scald the milk before freezing.
I'm not sure that it will have to all be thrown out, but I'm not confident that I'll be able to depend on it. It really sucks because I had about 100 oz in there and it was a lot of work to get that
