Am I the only one...

already planning Lo's 1st birthday?  I am crazy, yes, I know.  But, I am stressing out about it.  DH has a huge family, and I can't fit everyone in my house.  Being Feb. it isn't like I can plan something outside.  What do you all plan on doing?  Can you give me some ideas for where to have an indoor party for a 1 year old?

    I found a theme that I liked that was on clearance so I bought it like 2 mos ago and its stored away in the basement. I want to order the invites since they are still on clearance as well, but they are personalized and I figure if they are going to print them for free then hen I might as well take advantage of that, but I don;t know where we are going to have the party yet. there is a restaurant near us that has a small function room for up to 50 people and we are probably going to have it there.

    Don't feel bad I have already started planning LO also.  I have even been buying stuff for his as I find it on clearance.  So don't feel bad I am calling this next week to see about reserving a place to have his party at.

    I haven't purchased anything but I have been thinking about it. What to do for a winter birthday party?  My birthday party is in July so I am used to pool parties and cook outs.  Are you having a party for friends and family or just family? I haven't decided if I will invite friends yet.

    We are doing a inside party with both friend and family since I moved 1 1/2 away we are going in the middle and renting a place I found that nice but cheap.  His dad wanted a pirate them so that is what we are going with.  I do embroidery so I have his design and all that already.  We are not doing tons of decoration since he is just going to be one and I didn't want a inside blow up party because he will still be to small for all of that.

    We've been going to Gymboree so i'm thinking that we'll have it there.  I'm all about it being for the kids and not for the adults!

    I've already went as far as putting favors together and storing them (talk about crazy) We are having DS party in a church community room that is pretty decent size. Maybe you could try a town rec. room or something like that if there is one near by.

    Girl, you are crazy!  I have nothing to contribute.  Nada.  Zilch!  But have fun planning!  The whole dead of winter birthday time of year bums me out.  We may just celebrate in July.  Hehe.

    Well I've thought about where to have a party since it's winter and I have a summer birthday and never dealt with this! But then I also think just renting out the clubhouse in my develeopment will be boring...but it's a first birthday so it's not like there will be any pin the tail on the donkey or really too many other kids to rent out a gym or a bounce place (although the bounce place is a dream of MINE LOL!). We are probably doing some sort of Valentine's theme though.
