AW: Returned the Apnea Monitor Today

We started transitioning Kevin off the apnea monitor at the end of June - stopped using it during naps and car rides.  Then two Saturday's ago we stopped using it at night (switched to the Snuza Halo - I couldn't go cold turkey).  Today my husband boxed up the monitor to ship back.

To me that was the last vestige of preemie-ness.  My micro is now a "normal baby".   Well at least in the eyes of the general public who won't see any wires or machines anymore.

Congratulations!  I don't have monitor experience so I don't know, but it must be such a freeing feeling.

Very happy for you and your "normal" baby!

So far I like the Snuza.  It took some getting used to - not for the baby - for my husband and me.  Today is Kevin's first day with it at my mom's so we'll see how that goes.  I thought about getting the Angelcare but chose the Snuza for the portability.
