Am I the only one who is content with one child? I never wanted children. Yep. I was one of those. Now with Jake...I'm quite happy with having one precious lil boy.
It's going to take an awful lot of convincing for me to agree to have another. And I thought I wanted 3.
Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in.
6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)
I go back and forth. Some days I think one is enough, other days I want more. It depends on how much sleep I've had minus the number of fussy hours we had that day. lol

Possibly. I've always talked about two but I am not sure how we'd afford another since I'd just be working to pay for daycare. We'll have to see how things go in the next couple years and decide but I think I could be content with one.
I was never really set on having children either. I love our DS. I would be content with one, but DH is pushing for 3. We'll probably have at least one more. It would take a lot of convincing to have 3 for me.
I think I will have more in the future, but our family feels like it is temporarily complete. I read that 70% of American Idol finalists are only children. :-)

I know I'll end up having another but DH and I keep pushing our time line further and further down the road. It was 2 years, then DS came and it was 4, as of yesterday afternoon we've now pushed it to 5 years. I know a lot of people are blessed with easy babies but DS isn't easy. Only waking 3 times between 8 and 6 is a great night for us and the thought of going through this again scars the tar out of me

This is how I feel too...although lots of people say their 2nd baby is easier and has an easier temperament.... I hope it's true!
