Temping with a Toddler

Just curious when mommies of toddlers find it "best" to temp with a toddler (who still wakes throughout the night)?

Sometimes it's only once, around 3:30, but sometimes more, and I am not sure how much it could be affecting my BBT.

    He is 26 months (shown in my signature)... he has sleep problems.

    It is tricky. I have a 3 and 2 year old. They sleep through the night but probably once a week one of them is in my room asking for water or music on or something. The book I have says you need to be sleeping a minimum of 3 hours for it to be accurate though. What time does he wake up in the morning? If he wakes up at like 7am, you are fine as long as you've been asleep since 4am.

    This cycle I temp at 4:30am since DS was waking around then last month and my schedule was all messed up. Next cycle I will switch back to 5:30 since he is sleeping better again.

    Thank you ladies-- the 1st response left me feeling nothing but flustered with our sleep situation (which, believe it or not, I already am!). 

    DS was waking up for the day by 5:30, but we've started serious sleep training to get him to stay asleep (or at least in bed) until 6:30. I think what we're going to do is have DH tend to DS if he wakes anytime after 3:30 (and before waking for the day)... that way I'll still have 3 hours to go on ;)

    I temp every time I wake up, which is usually 2-4 times a night, then I average them all together. This is the temp on my charts. :)
