I don't know why this reminded me of this but...

I work at a pet store. A really annoying lady wanted a hamster for her really annoying daughter. So I was already annoyed with here. In case anyone doesn't know, it is really hard to tell the gender in young rodents. Until the males get balls, sex is ambiguous. The lady asked me if the hamster was a male or female. I told her it was too young to tell.

Then she asked me if the hamster was pregnant. Really? If I can't feaking tell you if it has a vag or a penis, do you seriously think I can tell you if it's KU or not? So I told her no, I can't tell you that. She got all snipy and asked again, if it 'looks' pregnant.

I looked at her with a Indifferent face and said, "I don't have a hamster sonogram, so I can't tell you." That shut her up...luckily she thought I was joking.

Oy...people are stupid.

The leaving, sure. But I can do without the sanctimonious "now I want you to go sit in a corner and think about what you've done" announcements. I will never understand why people think those will accomplish anything whatsoever.
