breastfeeding and meds

anyone breastfeed and take meds?  while pregnant i'm taking a small dose of zoloft and benadryl as needed for sleep.  i was not going to breastfeed originally but my baby's been through a rollercoaster with some pre-term labor scares and in case he come searly i'm considering breastfeeding now which would be better for him but not necessarily me.  thoughts?

    I just started taking Lexapro for PPA. It was prescribed by my psychiatrist and she had me confirm with my pediatrician that it was okay. The medication still gets into BM, but with Lexapro its minimal, and for me I feel that the benefits of BFing (for me and LO) are worth the minimal medication I pass on. Me being healthy and less anxiety-ridden are worth it to me.
