Seven Hills ladies

Those of you who went to Seven Hills while pregnant, how many u/s did you get? Assuming you were not high risk. My last ob did an u/s at 6 weeks for dating purposes, anatomy scan, and a few growth scans later on. I'm curious if my next doc would do the same.

My bff went there... (her son is 18 months) She only got one, at the anatomy scan. I know because she was very disappointed she only got one u/s... Thankful that everything was healthy and didn't need them, but she brings it up a lot, lol.

I had two, with both of my pregnancies. I was AMA (advanced maternal age) with both of mine, so that was the main reason. In my first pregnancy, I had an u/s at 11 weeks just to confirm the date and make sure all was OK, and then the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. In my second, I had an u/s at 6.5 weeks to confirm viability (I had a loss - molar pregnancy - between the two, and that had to be ruled out), and then the anatomy scan at 20 weeks.

I think their policy is one u/s midway through unless there are special circumstances.

I delivered with Seven Hills but another group of DR's and with both pregnancies I had more than standard because of my previous losses and bleeding. I guess it all depends on the situation but you will probably get one early, 12 weeks if you opt for the NT and 20 weeks for Anatomy. I had several at the beginning with each pregnancy and I had an extra one after my NT before my anatomy because of a partial previa.

They typically only do the a/s unless otherwise necessary. You can elect to have the NT scan but they send you across the street to the UC MFMs to have it done.

Like the other ladies said, the standard seemed to be one at 20ish weeks. I ended up with two during my second pregnancy because I wasn't sure of my dates (well, I was pretty sure...but I played a little dumb so they would double check.)

I had one at 10 weeks to confirm, measure, etc. and the AT scan at 20 weeks.

Only 1, at 20 weeks to measure and of course to tell you babies gender if interested. With Oliver he didn't show himself at our 20 week and they said they would try to think of a reason to do another u/s at our next appointment and never did so we ended up going to Becoming Mom to find out his gender.

Just one. Unless there is a medical need, I really don't see why any office would order more.

my sister goes there and she only had one at 20 weeks. i go elsewhere and had two- at 8 and 20 weeks.
