Hi ladies. My doctor told me to pick up some maternity support hose today since I have spider veins in my legs. Does anyone have these and if so where did you find them? I went to Target, Babies R Us and Walmart with no luck finding them. Thanks!
Most pharmacies will carry them...even Walmart should have some in the pharmacy section. You probably won't find any that say specifically "maternity" support hose, but if you get some that are about 15-20 or 20-30 mmHg pressure, they will be adequate.

I found my at Walmart, but I'd call them "Compression Hose" NOT maternity support hose, that might be why you can't find them. I found mine by the Pharmacy I think they costs like $12. I work 2 jobs, one at an office and one as a waitress I only wear them when I wait tables, but I'm so glad to have them. Although I must say I do struggle putting them on most days, and I cut the toes out because the seam goes right through your toes...OUCH! I think you should relook at Walmart and Target, I'm sure they have them!! GL
If you are lazy like me, you can order them from amazon. I use the futuro brand. They make one with the toes cut out. I have varicose veins, and so I go for the firm compression.
I got my compression nylons from a medical supply store. They have the materity ones that have a panel for baby belly. See if your doctor can write you a prescription for them. My doc did, and it saved me $ because my insurance covered it-my moderate hose costs $75! And they are a nitch to get on, but once they are on you are so glad you have them. Big difference. I have painful varicous veins and without the hose I woud be stuck in bed in pain from my legs.
