cosleeping mamas- a laundry question

Do you wash your bedsheets with dreft (or other baby-friendly detergent)?

It didn't even occur to me to do so until today, so now I'm wondering if it is necessary...

Re: cosleeping mamas- a laundry question

  • I'm not a co-sleeper, but I wash everything in a free and clear detergent so I don't have to worry about separating baby's things.

  • I just switched all our laundry to a baby-friendly detergent...seemed easier than having to sort stuff out all the time.
  • our regular detergent is baby-friendly and unscented, so sheets often get washed along with my clothes and baby clothes.

  • When my current detergent runs out I might get something free and clear that I can wash all our stuff in, but for right now my bed sheets get washed in my regular ALL detergent.  DD hasn't had any reactions.  She spends a lot of time with her face and exposed limbs against my clothes too and no rash or irritation from that either.

  • I washed my sheets in a free and clear for the first few times and then I went back to my regular detergent.

I typically do that after I notice they have no issues.

  • I wash everything in either Vaska or Charlie's Soap so I don't worry about having to seperate anything.

  • I hated the smell of laudry detergent when I was pregnant, so I switched to Tide free & clear and I still use it for all of our clothes. For LO I wash her stuff with Dreft.

  • Yep, everything in free and clear, just easier. Which reminds me, I need to go move the sheets from the washer to dryer.
