Ergo or Beco?

I'm so UN-decided. It's time to move up from the Moby (which I still love just want something else on longer trips) I've narrowed it down between the Ergo & Beco but now can not make a decision!

Does anyone have both & prefer one to the other?

    We have both the Ergo and the Beco Butterfly II.  I am very well endowed and find the beco to be more comfortable.  My LO would always fuss when she was on my front.  My husband on the other hand likes the Ergo and LO doesn't fuss on him.  I love how easy the butterfly is to get onto my back and it doesn't seem quite so big on LO.  We just got it this weekend so I'm not a long term "expert" on it.  I would say that the baby feels more weightless in the Ergo.  I would suggest going somewhere where you can try both on.  I know that granolababies.com also has a rental program.  You can rent both for two weeks and they'll refund the money of one and give you a store credit for the one you like the most so you can buy it.  I believe you also have to pay $10 for shipping?  The Ergo is also not as good for young babies.  The Beco can supposedly be used from birth although I have no experience with that.

    I bought the Ergo and on the same day at a children's resale shop, I found a Beco Butterfly for $20! I couldn't pass up the Beco so I bought it and tried them both out at home. To me they're really similar. The Beco seemed cooler to me because it has a panel of material between you and baby so we didn't get as warm. He also seemed more comfortable in the Beco as far as where the straps hit on him so I decided to stick with the Beco. But I don't think you can go wrong with either.

    I was in your same boat a couple months ago! Such a hard decision. I went with the Beco Gemini, I am really happy with my decision and I love it. DS loves it also, it also goes four different ways the Ergo has 2. The Beco let's the baby face outward, which my DS likes to do.

    I have the Ergo sport and it can be worn three ways.  Back, front and hip carry.
