Scan and new due date

We had our anatomy scan this morning. Tech said everything looked great. We are team green so no gender reveal however my Dr. did inform me that she wants to move my due date up 6 days so little peanut is now due on Dec. 7th!

 So I get to skip 6 days woohoo and I will be 20 weeks on Wednesday half way. DH was a little bummed because baby was due on the 13th his birthday but I said now our baby will be here to celebrate with him. Anyone else have a due date change?

    We started out with a 10 Dec due date and now have a 2 Dec due date.  That 8 days less to wait is awesome!

    The baby was measuring 5 days ahead at my last ultrasound (12w4d) but my OB kept my due date the same. I have my 'big' ultrasound on Saturday so we'll see if s/he is still measuring ahead and what my doctor says. My son measured a few days ahead as well but ended up being 7 days late anyway, as was my daughter, so it likely wont matter for me anyway.

    It really only matters towards the end, when they need to decide if and when they want to induce you, right? I hope they don't change for this reason, I want to give this baby the chance to cook as long as it needs. Smile

    This for me, too!  I want to give the baby as much chance as possible, and I am worried about the mental effect of thinking, "I am overdue".  However, how nice is it to feel like you are that much closer!  It does feel good to make progress :)

    Hope that baby will just come on its own and we won't have to induce but who knows babies come when they want to come! It does feel good to be making progress
