8 week appt.

I have an appt. with a nurse at 8 weeks.  Should I bring up VBAC then or wait till I meet with a Dr.?

    I would absolutely bring it up.  You want to get the most information about your practice as possible.  You may find that one doctor or nurse is more forthcoming or honest than another.  So, I would keep asking at every appointment.

    With my first appt. the Dr. asked me straight away what I was thinking delivery wise for this baby. The c-section was in my chart so she's the one who brought it up first. When I told her I was thinking VBAC she gave me a few handouts that were helpful. She said we talk more about it after I read through them and as I got further along in my pregnancy. So I would say if she doesn't bring it up make sure you do so you know their policies regarding VBAC's and other questions you may have! The more knowledge you have early on the better!
