Watermine vs. water park at Algonkian

if you've been to both, which is better suited for a 13mo and a 33mo old? Can you bring your own food to both?

TIA

Re: Watermine vs. water park at Algonkian

  • We tried the Watermine last weekend, but it was opening later due to a "contamination issue" the day before.  Since we were already there and didn't want to wait in the parking lot for an hour, we drove to the one on Algonkian.  It was nice, but I felt my DS (almost 2 1/2) was too little for most of the attractions.  We brought our food, but couldn't bring it into the park.  There are 2 picnic tables and a gazebo (was rented for a party that day) just outside that we were able to eat our food at.  Overall, it was nice, but I've heard that the Watermine is better suited for the younger kids and you can bring your food in.  Hope to make it there next weekend!
