Never again...

So we had our BBQ on Saturday.  It went fantastic and everyone loved everything!  The weather even cooperated and got sunny around 3.  We ended up having about 60 people including kids, but more than enough food.  The menu was pulled pork shoulder that H smoked all Friday night and into Saturday, pasta salad, pea salad, potato salad, rolls, sangria, mojitos and some pink lemonade and water.  We ended up doing bottles of Pyramid instead of a keg and it was a hit.  We have almost no beer left!  All the drinks were gone too!  My H loved every minute of it.

However, I now how have an ear infection and sinus infection and seriously am so tired.  I totally overworked myself last week and NEVER AGAIN will I host something this big at my house.  The unfortunate thing is I have zero sick time because my work requires you to use it all during maternity leave and we just get a chunk of hours at the beginning of the year.  So I'm screwed until January.

    Wow that was a lot to take on with a tiny baby!  We always end up doing a big party for Cruz's b-day that sort of turns into a party for dh too and I'm exhausted afterwards.  This year I am going to hire my nanny to watch Jagger otherwise it would just be too much!

    I'm so happy it went well. I'm sure you are beyond exhausted. I've had BBQs with 25 people at our house and felt like that was too big. I hope you get feeling better soon.
