  1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? Cycle 3, waiting to O.

  2. What are you looking forward to this week? Going to a concert tonight with my Mom. Can't wait!

  3. Am I the only one who has a self pitty party every month AF shows with a bottle of wine or two? -Kglan You are not alone, sister! I have a secret little pity party every month. I try not to let DH see my disappointment becuase he is already feeling pressure from the whole TTC process. Can't help but be a little disappointed when AF shows up.

  Pregnant Questions

  1. What week are you in? 25 Any new aches or pains? same ol same ol

  2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?  Next tuesday, and just the regular stuff U/S, cervix check etc..

  3. What are you looking forward to this week? Um...  My weekend? 

  4. For the women close to your due date, do you ever wish you'd kept the actual date to yourself (I'm relatively patient with the people who point out just how "overdue" I am) ?LauraLynneC  My friends and family weren't very annoying about asking if the baby was here yet, so I never wished that.

  5. How early did you start buying baby stuff? ?cmcmillan  With H, I didnt buy anything until I got these Ducky slippers when I was like 18 weeks pg. With the Weebs I only just started buying things about 2 weeks ago.  I think I may be a procrastinator...

  6. Is your pregnancy going by fast or slow? ?kristalovesjared  Fast, way WAY too fast!

  7. Anyone take any other of the classes offered by the hospital? Any recommendations or are they a waste of money? ?karebear219  We took a birth prep,  newborn prep, and Breastfeeding 101.  I would say that the birth prep was helpful, the breastfeeding class was 100% necessary (if you plan on bfing) and the newborn prep class was old news for me (since i had younger siblings and babysat a lot) but very helpful for dh since he didnt have the same prior experience I had.

  8. For experienced moms, how long did your LO fit into newborn sized diapers and clothes? How many of each should you have on hand? -QuincysBerry We knew H was going to be big so we didnt have any nb stuff on hand, BIG mistake!  He was 9lbs and still swimming in the 0-3 month sizes, we ended up having to make a run to walmart to get him some newborn sized pants and sleepers.  He was in them for a little over a month if I remember correctly.

  just starting my 9th week. nothing new..but i think my fatigue is starting to wear off. i still take daily naps, but i'm having trouble sleeping "on time", so i think i need to ween myself off of my naps.

  n/a. but i *do* point out/remind to the few people who know about the pregnancy right now that due dates are flexible.

  i have a few things..bibs, stuffed animals that i've gotten as gifts... i've been baby crazed and have had onesies for years. i haven't bought anything hardcore yet--cribs, diapers, car seats, etc...still trying to be cautiously optimistic as i know m/c is still a possibility.

  slow. it's so hard each week to find out that i'm not at second tri (yet!) and can't announce it to my friends/family/public. it's draining to continue to lie to everyone about why i'm tired, hungry, avoiding my favorite foods (including tequila).

     I'm not there yet but I can see why this would be a good idea!

    I started buying after the anatomy scan (about 19 weeks)

    Changes for me, in the beginning really slow, its picked up a bit now.

  3. What are you looking forward to this week? Our car seat inspection on Friday! Silly, but it's just so exciting getting to-do's marked off our list in preparation for our baby girl
  
  4. For the women close to your due date, do you ever wish you'd kept the actual date to yourself (I'm relatively patient with the people who point out just how "overdue" I am) ?LauraLynneC Not at all. I would be patient with people as well, but I haven't even had to do that much yet.
  
  5. How early did you start buying baby stuff? ?cmcmillan We didn't buy any baby items before our shower, and we actually got just about everything we needed. We'll buy the rest of the necessities next week (surprisingly, our first baby purchase!)
  
  6. Is your pregnancy going by fast or slow? ?kristalovesjared Slow, in general. The first and second trimesters dragged on, but now as we're getting closer (and busier) it's speeding up.

I have a lot of medically oriented family members, as well as very experienced moms/aunts/grandmas ect. It would be a waste to spend money on help and advice that we can get for free from loved ones.

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains?  9. Just increasingly bad morning sickness.

  2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? NT scan not scheduled yet. But will "go public" after the scan.

  3. What are you looking forward to this week? Exercising! Threw my back out 2 weeks ago & finally feeling better enough to go for a short run!

But my last I didn't regret it. Of course it was my 1st, so most people anticipated I'd be late.

  5. How early did you start buying baby stuff? ?cmcmillan We already bought the crib cause it was on a big sale on amazon! Otherwise waiting until the 20 week point.

  6. Is your pregnancy going by fast or slow? ?kristalovesjared Just the beginning, so I don't feel like it's going by too fast or slow at this point.

  7. Anyone take any other of the classes offered by the hospital? Any recommendations or are they a waste of money? ?karebear219 Look into "expecting miracles" if you are in the Snohomish county area. It's a really good program & it's free CPR class is neccessary though.

We basically just used the newborn diapers that people gave us at the shower & purchased size 1's after that.  She only wore newborn for 1 month, but has consistently been 1 size ahead of her age. Depends on the baby.

  9. Questions for next week? Drug-free birth moms - have you used/do you plan to hire a doula? why or why not?

  Pregnant QuestionsWhat week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 24 -- My mid-back has been hurting more and more lately.  When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?This Wednesday. I'm having the glucose blood test. Review of my blood pressure history that I've been taking at home (I had a high spike at week 20).   What are you looking forward to this week?Leaving for camping Thursday morning!   2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Well we were planning to do the NT scan but missed our window.  I forgot it had to be before 13 weeks.  So now we'll see the MW end of July

  3. What are you looking forward to this week?  it being over so the sun can come back for good.

  5. How early did you start buying baby stu ff? ?cmcmillan I've gotten a few gifts but haven't bought anything yet.  There are a few things we need so if I see sales or deals, I'll start buying any time now.  I did pick out a paint color for the nursery, though!

I think when I burst into tears or glared at people when they said something to me about it, it shut them up.

  1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains?  27, heart burn is kicking it up a notch. I am slowly eliminating foods from my diet, carrying the tums 24 hours now.
