My first pumping experience...

Well, I feel like a milked cow.  Sat in the glider double fisted with the electrics pumps, helpless to do anything else.  Then I proceed to spill one bag on my lap but salvage the other for a bottle.

DH feeds DD and she just is not happy so I end up having to breast feed her an hour later.

It is double the work, I don't think I am going to bother again for awhile.

  • Yuck!  I know how frustrating it is to spill milk you just worked so hard to pump!!

  • You're right, it is double the work. But you can quickly learn how to hold the two of them with one arm and hand so at least you can read or Nest or something. Sorry, that's all I got!!

  • Buy a $6 sports bra at walmart that clasps in the front and cut holes in it.  You can use it to hold onto the pump and then be hands free.  I pump and nest.  It definitely makes it easier to deal with.
  • I need to get a bra for holding them!  It really only takes me like 10 minutes to pump though.
  • Gives "crying over spilled milk" a whole new meaning...
