A couple weeks ago when he turned 6 months. He doesn't really use it, just chews on the spout (it's a softer spout for 4+ months), but I tip it sometimes to show him there's water in it, and I know he'll get it once he experiments with it more.

DS will take A sip from a regular cup. We tried the nuk starter sippy and he would gag a lot - the flow was too fast, I guess.
He has taken drinks out of my camelback bottle, so we tried a few flex straws but he doesn't seem to interested. I don't let him sip out of the camelback unless he's adamant to... Not sure how that affects speech and since none are sold for kids, it makes me nervous.

I started a few weeks ago. She just started actually getting anything out of it. I mainly just gave it to her to let her experiment with it, not really to get anything out of it.

We gave him one about a month ago, but he wasn't quite ready. Now that he is drinking from a regular cup pretty well, I don't know what we'll do about a sippy.
I also wanna add that I think being introduced to other forms of drinking early may have led to his habit of trying to steal straws out of my mouth and drink whatever I'm having, so that one bit me in the ass, because now my Dr Pepper is not safe

I introduced it at 6 months, and he's able to get something out of it (tommee tippee version) but I have to hold it for him right now. He'll grab it with one hand but can't figure out to use his other hand to help him get it to his mouth! Not sure how much he's actually drinking out of it though- I just see water dribbling down his chin.

Your siggy pic is adorable!!!
Thanks Ronan's totally jeals of your little dude's shark suit, he just doesn't know it yet.
L seems to get freaked out my the fast flow. I've tried the Playtex Stage 1, and Tommee Tippee soft spout (the no-bite kind). He is still on slow flow nipples whenever he takes a bottle, which isn't often since he mostly nurses still.
I've tried cup feeding, so far he just wears most of it when I hold the cup, and all of it when I don't hold it!

Just some water. I fill it about halfway so that there's even a miniscule chance of him getting something if he tips it enough.
