Crossing my fingers...

that baby shows us its gender tomorrow. Any hints for getting it to show us the goodies on the ultrasound machine?
Edited because I am an English teacher and that's what we do.

    they had me lay on my side but it didn't take much. My son is obviously not modest. He was spread eagle with his glories for the world to see!

    I drank some apple juice about 30 minutes before my appointment, hoping that the baby would move for us! Well maybe I drank too much, because the baby wouldn't STOP moving, and the tech had to spend 20 extra minutes with us to get all the proper measurements because she wouldn't sit still!

    hahaha - thats a great story, stephers_7 !

    as for getting the baby to show the goods...

    A couple weeks ago we did an elective ultrasound and they suggested we drink some cold orange juice 30 min before. Our LO cooperated and they said they are 99% we are having a boy :) We find out for sure at our appt this thursday.

    ^^ haha ditto! no sooner than the u/s tech put the wand down and we knew he was a boy! I did eat a small piece of fudge to help the baby be active; not sure if it was the fudge working or him just being a crazy man, but he was movin!

    One of my later ultrasounds with my son he was facing my back so the tech couldn't see anything. She told me to go for a short walk and drink some pop or something with caffeine. I bought a coke and an orange juice for the extra sugar and by the time I got back he had completely turned around and was moving all over the place. Caffeine and/or sugar should do the trick and get him/her moving :)
