luker with carrier question

LO is almost 4 weeks old.  While he's generally a happy baby, that's really only true when he's being held or worn.  We have a pouch sling, an Ergo, and a Moby already.  He seems to like all of them just fine.  The problem I'm running into is the heat.  We have to use the infant insert with the Ergo since he's still so small, and he ends up so hot and sweaty if we use it for any length of time.  Same for the Moby simply because of all of the extra fabric.

Any suggestions for a different carrier that might work well?  I'd like to spend less than $100.  TIA!

Re: luker with carrier question

  • If you like the Ergo, then you'd probably like it's cousin--a mei tai.  It will give you more ventilation.

If you want something like your stretchy wrap (but a lot cooler), go with a gauze wrap (Wrapsody) or thin woven wrap (BB-Slen, Vatanai).

ETA:  I doubt that it's the LENGTH of your wrap that's making you hot.  It's the type of wrap that's making you hot.
