I hope I don't jinx anything... but I just have to update because I know I've complained abuot sleep plenty....
In the last month or so, I've gotten Cooper to fall asleep in his own bed, without me in there, he sleeps through the night (although that means only 8.5-10 hours a night, but whatever), and I've weaned him completely! He must have been ready for all of it because the final transitions were super easy when I finally did them. OH, and, biggest news is that Steve has been able to put him down for a nap and for bedtime without me and without any fuss. So that's a HUGE change from a month ago when Cooper wouldn't even go in his room with Steve when I was out with friends!
I know, it's ridiculous. Cooper is 21 months old. But FINALLY we are somewhere close to "normal". Now if I can just get brave and find a babysitter and also see if I can drop him at the gym daycare place. Then we will really be living the dream.

Re: aw sleep stuff...
I still can't leave Gavin at the gym daycare or at the church nursery. Evie magically outgrew her separation anxiety at age 2. I'm hoping that in another month, Gavin will be ok with it! It would be a dream come true if I could work out whenever I wanted and go to church without having to entertain a rowdy toddler.
This is my dream too! Baby steps right?! But doesn't that little bit of normal feel awesome!
Go check it out, you might be surprised. You can watch from outside and if it's a nightmare, you can pick him back up. Try it for short periods like target or the grocery store first, but he might be just fine there!
yay! What a huge change for you.
