another flying question

this is a hair spray question. can it be a CAN or does it need to be a bottle? I really dont want my can of hair spray removed from my bag if I can avoid it.

Can - one constant spray

Bottle - one pump at a time

    It can be either one. If you're checking the bag, it doesn't matter on the size of the container. If you're putting it in your carry-on bag it must be no larger than 3.4oz and in a quart-sized zip-loc bag.

    You can take aerosol cans in your carry on luggage, except it needs to be below that 3.4 oz limit.
