I have a three year old who is DYING to go camping, but also a 14 month old who is a picky sleeper, and a husband who says camping while not in a tent is cheating....any good recommendations for places to go where we won't all kill each other?
Thanks in advance!
Re: camping? with kids?
What about backyard camping at your own or a friend or family member's house? Your DH and older child can tent camp while you and LO sleep in a more comfortable space?
I'm not sure how far away you are looking to go but check out JellyStone Park in New Hampshire. It's a family orientated camp ground that my family takes the kids to every summer and they absolutely love it. It has the regular camping areas for tents or they also have cabins and the whole day they have activities for the children like hayrides, face painting, and all other kinds of organized activities. I just looked and the prices dont seem to be that bad for a weekend.
