Question about Period and the pill

in May 2011 Moms

I was going to start taking the pill again today but I think I just got my period! I'm 9 weeks PP.....when did you ladies get your period?

Also I know this is silly but I don't remember how the pill works...if I have my period then I shouldn't start taking the pill today right? Should I wait till next Sunday?

    It depends on the pill.

    I started my PP AF 12 weeks PP. I started on a Monday and started the pill the next Sunday. My doctor told me that I HAD to start my pillOrtho Tri-Cyclen)( the Sunday after AF started. But you would have to ask your doctor about the pill you're on.
