I have a Moby and a Wrapsody Bali Stretch for the new baby. I LOVED the Moby with my son but I was looking for something that might be a bit easier to slip the baby in/out of and to nurse in for the new baby.
I was drawn to the Comfy Joey Linen ring slings like this- https://www.comfyjoey.com/catalog.php?item=294&catid=40&ret=catalog.php%3Fcategory%3D40 I am drawn to the fact that it is easy to pop baby in/out, low price, linen so its strong enough to use it past the infant stage if I wanted PLUS lightweight for South Carolina summers and I like that the tail can be used to help me cover up when I'm NIPing.
Anyone have any thoughts on Comfy Joey slings? Linen ring slings? Ring slings for newborns in general? I'd happily take other suggestions for options for babywearing a newborn as well. FWIW I have an Ergo for when the baby gets bigger but I'm also interested in a woven for when the baby is bigger but I'll ask about those later in a seperate post ![]()
Re: Linen Ring Sling for Newborn
I don't have experience with Comfy Joey, but I use a linen RS with my newborn and I LOVE it. It is so easy when you are out! I use the Moby at home, but it is too hot here in OK to use it when out right now.
I got my RS from Sleeping Baby Productions for around $50. I also got the matching zipper pouch that snaps on the rings - LOVE this since it hold my keys, phone and wallet...plus a couple diapers.

Oh good! Please post when you do and let me know how hard/easy it is to do. I was so absolutely awful at NIPing with my son. I'm really hoping I find something to make it easier this time so I'm not trapped inside with two kids!
