Food Allergy

Does this sound like a food allergy/intolerance?

My DD has thrown up the last two times that I've fed her pureed babyfood that has bananas in it.  The one day, she had also eaten "Sweet Potatoes and Chicken."  Well, today she ate "Summer Vegetables" (has zuchini, green beans, garbanzo beans and corn in it) and she threw up, as well.  Do you think that this sounds like an allergy or food intolerance?  I'm going to call the pediatrician on Monday, I think, since it's hard to know what I can feed her at this point other than pears, apples, carrots, and plain sweet potatoes.  She doesn't seem to be able to tolerate the mixtures.  I want her to enjoy eating and trying other foods, but I don't want to introduce her to things and it makes her throw up.  She doesn't have a rash or anything like that.

We feed our Babies Earth's Best purees, by the way, if that matters.  They also have breastmilk in addition to their purees.

I've never posted here before, so hopefully this isn't too dumb of a question.  I don't know much about this stuff.  Thanks for any advice!

ETA:  We have been feeding her one food at a time up until now.  She had been fine with eating green beans on their own, for instance, but can't tolerate the mixture.

  • IMO doesn't sound like a FA to me.  Maybe she ate too much? Were her BM ok?  Wouldn't hurt to speak to the pedi and in the mean time i would only feed one food at a time.  Maybe she's not ready for mixtures?  wish i could help more.. hopefully it's not FA related.. but IMO i think you would see some BM or skin issues.

Also, did she seem uncomfortable after?

Thanks for responding!  No, she didn't seem uncomfortable.  Her BMs seemed normal too.
