FFSaturday Confession anyone?

I need it. It's just really a vent for me though, but I'm sure there are others who need to let steam off too. 

Here goes: I hate bringing E to my MILs. She always makes it a big deal, today we have to go over for brunch. We are not brunch people. We would rather just pop in for an hour or so, get the visit done and over with. Nope, she said come for 11, that means we won't eat for an hour, and then we'll get roped into staying for an hour afterwards too. She also whispers the entire time when we're there, He's 2 months old, You can speak at a normal talking volume!! I don't know why but that bugs me. I should mention that MIL and I never got along until we were pregnant, so most things she does irk me. 

I've vented already about my FIL on numerous other posts, but he's just So frustrating lately. We have to go to his GFs house for dinner tomorrow. We've been avoiding it since E was born. She is 'deathly allergic' to our pets and refuses to come to our house, so now we have to go all the way across the city to go to her stupid house for dinner. On top of that, I told them that DH had plans at 7, so if we could do a 'late lunch' that would be better. Nope. She won't. We don't like his GF very much, and this isn't helping matters. 

/vent over... I feel petty for most of that but I don't care. People annoy me.

    doesn't sound like a fun time. what a bummer. hopefully it will end quickly and you can get back home!

    Hope your day turns out to be better then your imagining it to be.  Family is annoying, especially in highly emotional/stressful times.  Trust me, I know.  I am dealing with my parents, the help you out even though you didn't ask for help, so I can guilt trip you later for it parents.  I appreciate them and what they did, and I knew the guilt trip was coming, but I figured it would be later in the year.  Ugh.
