  I actually started out thinking similarly with ours ("northwest"), but ended up more of a forest/rainforest kind of thing.  2 walls are dark green; sectional is brown; all wood is a kind of rustic cherry; leaf-shaped metal art piece over the fireplace; canvas print from a walk on a trail on one wall; wrought iron leaf-y candle sconces; etc.

  It comes in different colors - UVillage has a print store that sells these, I love them!

  I think sort of coffee shop, warm and cozy with a large bookshelf. manhattan leather chairs and antique looking storage chest for a coffee table.

  I'm also really into grey/white/yellow but that would feel more formal to me I think.

  I think of Starbucks.... HA! I really do like the way they are decorated inside though, always very cozy. Maybe that could be an inspiration? And I love the poster linked above!

  I think of cozy leather chairs like twinmommy posted above... and then also blown glass pieces either for lamps or bowls as art pieces on shelves, etc....
