Back Pain

I know back pain is very very common, and I've been getting lower back pain with my contractions (which are still sporatic) but now I have almost severe pain shooting up my spine from my lower back up into my neck. I don't know if it's from the baby or the pressure on the rods (I have Scoliosis and 2 rods fused in my spine). I don't want to call the doctor, but I'm wondering if I should just to get some advice. Pain pills won't work for me either because I have issues with taking pills... I'm going to assume I'm SOL. Or going into a very early form of labor.

    my guess is that you were in labor and it's likely that you're in the hospital now.

    I had the same situation the other night and my dr told me to use a heating pad....it was amazing and took all the pain away.  I knew I wasn't in labor at the time, though.
